Since the opening of Shanghai 2010 on 1st May, 25 million people have visited the Expo. This number will certainly see major growth over the coming months, given the crowds that are likely to visit the more than 200 pavilions of Shanghai Expo during the summer holidays.

In July, Belgian brewer AB InBev has booked the Belgian pavilion business centre in July as the venue for their respective seminars. For the brewer, China is an attractive market, given the steep rise in the country's beer consumption in recent years.

The world's largest brewer will be holding a series of events in the pavilion's Belgian Beer Café on 16 and 17 July. There will be a tasting session of 20 beers, with a zythologist or professional beer specialist on hand. The company will also give coverage to the World Draught Mastership, which is an international competition the brewer has held for over 20 years. It promotes the correct way to pour beer and awards the best bartender the title of World Draught Master.

Europe will also be organizing a range of events in July. On the agenda: the TRADE days (22-23 July) and the Project Fair on EU Development Cooperation with China (26-27-28 July).
